The Footballer: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Dominic Nathaniel Calvert-Lewin began his journey in the youth ranks of Sheffield United before making senior appearances and loan spells at Stalybridge Celtic and Northampton Town. He made his move to the Premier League with Everton in 2016, where he spent nearly a decade making over 200 league appearances and scoring 57 goals for the club. During his time there he earned numerous accolades and became a cult hero among supporters.
In the summer of 2025 he signed for Leeds United, embracing a new chapter in his top-flight career and aiming to add to his legacy in the Premier League.
On the international stage, Calvert-Lewin first made waves with England’s youth squads, starring in the under-20 side that won the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup — he scored the winning goal in the final. He has also earned senior caps for England, netting goals in friendly fixtures and contributing to the national squad with his poise and strength.
