Colts, from Baltimore history to Indianapolis identity
The modern Colts franchise began in Baltimore in 1953 and quickly became central to NFL history. Johnny Unitas led championship teams, including the 1958 overtime victory often credited with accelerating professional football's television growth. The horseshoe, blue and white colours and greats such as Raymond Berry and Gino Marchetti established a lasting identity.
The club moved to Indianapolis in 1984. A later era built around Peyton Manning, Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne and head coach Tony Dungy produced sustained success and victory in Super Bowl XLI. Andrew Luck and subsequent teams carried expectations shaped by elite quarterback play, while Lucas Oil Stadium became the modern home.
A team nickname recognised across two cities
COLTS works as Players Couture apparel for Indianapolis fans and followers of the wider franchise history. It gives UK American football supporters game-day clothing without reproducing the horseshoe, NFL shield, helmet stripe, player number or a licensed team wordmark.
How to wear the Colts T-shirt
Wear it for game day, a UK watch party, a stadium trip or during the off-season. The name design pairs with denim, cargo trousers and trainers, giving American football fans an everyday alternative to a heavy jersey. White gives the print a crisp finish, Black and Navy provide easy darker options, Grey has a softer athletic character and Red adds more impact.
Fit, fabric and made-to-order production
The T-shirt is made from soft ringspun cotton with a crew neck, short sleeves and a regular men's fit. It is available in White, Black, Red, Navy and Grey in sizes S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL. Check the size guide before ordering, particularly when buying for somebody else or choosing a looser fit.
Each garment is printed to order in the United Kingdom after the customer selects the colour and size. No finished pre-printed stock is produced before an order is placed. This reduces the need to hold large quantities of finished stock and allows Players Couture to maintain specialist names alongside widely recognised favourites. Free UK delivery is included.
Wash inside out with similar colours on a cool cycle. Avoid bleach, do not iron directly over the print and air dry where practical. These steps help protect the cotton shape and printed lettering through repeat wear.
