Dennis Rodman did the dirty work better than anyone in NBA history. He wasn't a big scorer, but he defended every position, dived for every loose ball and owned the glass, winning seven straight rebounding titles and five NBA championships with two of the greatest teams ever assembled.

The Late Bloomer
Born in Trenton, New Jersey, on 13 May 1961, Rodman took the long road to the NBA. He played college basketball at Southeastern Oklahoma State from 1983 to 1986, and the Detroit Pistons took him in the second round of the 1986 draft with the 27th pick. Bad Boys Pistons

He made the All-Star team in 1990 and 1992, and in 1991–92 he averaged an incredible 18.7 rebounds per game. The Pistons later retired his No. 10. Explore the Detroit Pistons collection.

The Bulls' Second Three-Peat
After two seasons with the San Antonio Spurs, Rodman joined the Chicago Bulls in 1995. Alongside Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, he helped the Bulls win three straight championships in 1996, 1997 and 1998. His rebounding and defence were the perfect complement to Chicago's stars, and he led the league in rebounding every season in Chicago.
His seven consecutive rebounding titles ran from 1992 to 1998 across three different teams. Our Rodman & Jordan Badge Men's Hoodie celebrates one of basketball's great double acts.
