Alderley Edge is both a Cheshire village and the wooded sandstone ridge that rises above it, carrying ancient mining evidence, wide views and legends of sleeping knights beneath the hill. This men's T-shirt is for locals, former residents, walkers and visitors whose connection to the name reaches beyond its modern public profile.

Alderley Edge refers both to a Cheshire village and to the wooded sandstone ridge that rises above the surrounding plain. The landscape contains evidence of more than 4,000 years of metal mining, including prehistoric workings, Roman activity and later copper extraction. An Armada beacon once used the high ground as part of a national warning network, while the Edge's caves and rocks fed the legend of a wizard guarding a sleeping army. That legend helped inspire Alan Garner's The Weirdstone of Brisingamen, giving the place a literary identity alongside its geology, walks and views.
