Exeter Chiefs and the rise from county rugby to European champions
Exeter Rugby Club's modern story is one of sustained growth. Promotion to the Premiership arrived in 2010 after a long pursuit, and Sandy Park quickly became one of English rugby's most difficult away trips. Rather than merely survive, Exeter built around academy players, strong recruitment and a forward game able to apply pressure for entire matches.
The Chiefs won their first Premiership title in 2017 and reached repeated domestic finals. The peak came in 2020, when Exeter defeated Racing 92 to win the European Champions Cup and then beat Wasps to complete a league and European Double. Players such as Jack Nowell, Henry Slade, Sam Simmonds, Joe Simmonds and Luke Cowan-Dickie became closely associated with that era.
A Chiefs design with the club made clear
The product title distinguishes Exeter Chiefs from Kansas City's NFL team. CHIEFS works for Sandy Park regulars and Devon rugby supporters who remember the climb through the divisions, without copying the club badge, Premiership marks or a match jersey.
How to wear the Chiefs (Exeter Chiefs) T-shirt
Wear it for a Test weekend, a club fixture, a tour reunion or a relaxed day watching rugby with friends. Pair it with jeans, shorts or training bottoms for supporter clothing that recognises the player without copying a match jersey. White gives the print a crisp finish, Black and Navy provide easy darker options, Grey has a softer athletic character and Red adds more impact.
Fit, fabric and made-to-order production
The T-shirt is made from soft ringspun cotton with a crew neck, short sleeves and a regular men's fit. It is available in White, Black, Red, Navy and Grey in sizes S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL. Check the size guide before ordering, particularly when buying for somebody else or choosing a looser fit.
Each garment is printed to order in the United Kingdom after the customer selects the colour and size. No finished pre-printed stock is produced before an order is placed. This reduces the need to hold large quantities of finished stock and allows Players Couture to maintain specialist names alongside widely recognised favourites. Free UK delivery is included.
Wash inside out with similar colours on a cool cycle. Avoid bleach, do not iron directly over the print and air dry where practical. These steps help protect the cotton shape and printed lettering through repeat wear.
