The Denis Law hoodie from Players Couture carries the name of the most naturally gifted goalscorer Manchester United produced in the pre-Premier League era across the chest in bold lettering, contrasting colour, made to order when you place yours. Denis Law won the Ballon d’Or in 1964, won the First Division with United in 1965 and 1967, the FA Cup in 1963, and was named European Footballer of the Year — one of the Holy Trinity alongside George Best and Bobby Charlton that made United the most celebrated club side in England during the 1960s. For United supporters who study the history and for followers of Scottish football who consider him the greatest player the country has produced, this is the fan apparel.

Denis Law joined Manchester United from Torino in 1962 for £115,000 and spent eleven seasons at Old Trafford, scoring 237 goals in 404 appearances — the second highest in the club’s history. He won the Ballon d’Or in 1964, the First Division in 1965 and 1967, the FA Cup in 1963. He was part of the United side that won the European Cup in 1968, though injury prevented him from playing in the final. He was named the United player of the century by supporters. For Scotland, he earned 55 caps and scored 30 international goals. He scored what he later described as the goal that ruined his life — a backheel for Manchester City against United that effectively relegated them in 1974.
