Dennis Bergkamp Arsenal T-Shirt | Players Couture
Dennis Bergkamp scored 120 goals in 423 appearances for Arsenal across eleven seasons — but the numbers understate the contribution of a player who was as important for what he created for others as for what he scored himself. His touch against Newcastle in 2002, collecting a long ball over his shoulder, turning in one movement and finishing before the defender could react, is consistently voted the greatest Premier League goal ever scored and represents Bergkamp's playing philosophy made physical.
Bergkamp was the creative foundation of the Arsène Wenger teams that won two doubles and the Invincible 2003-04 season without losing a league match. His ability to receive in tight spaces, his first touch and his vision made him the perfect number ten for Wenger's system, and his contribution to the development of players around him — including Thierry Henry — was as significant as any individual trophy. Arsenal have had great players in the years since, but the Non-Flying Dutchman occupies a unique place in the club's history.
If you're an Arsenal fan or looking for a gift for a Bergkamp supporter, this Players Couture design captures him in the red and white of Highbury in the Pantone-card illustration style.
The t-shirt is made from 100% premium cotton with a regular unisex fit, available in White, Navy, Red, Black and Grey in sizes XS to 5XL. Every piece is made to order at our studio in Manchester — nothing is held in stock, so your order is produced fresh just for you.
