John Robertson was described by Brian Clough as the most important player in his career — a man whose ability to beat defenders and deliver the ball made Forest’s two consecutive European Cup victories possible. Robertson scored the winning goal in the 1980 European Cup final, the culmination of one of the most remarkable sustained achievements in the history of British club football. For followers of Scottish football and for fans of the Nottingham Forest story who know the name that settled the 1980 final, this is the fan apparel.

John Robertson joined Nottingham Forest from Drumchapel Amateurs and spent the majority of his career at the City Ground, winning the First Division in 1978 and the European Cup in 1979 and 1980. He scored the winning goal in the 1980 final against Hamburg — cutting in from the left and curling the ball into the far corner. For Scotland, he earned 28 caps and scored eight international goals.
