Few players in the history of the Premier League commanded a midfield the way Roy Keane did. At Manchester United, where he served as captain for nine of his twelve seasons, he was the enforcer, the organiser and the engine — the player who held the entire structure together with a ferocity and will to win that bordered on something beyond mere competitive spirit. Teammates, opponents and managers all acknowledged it: when Keane played well, United played well.
He won seven Premier League titles, four FA Cups, the Champions League in 1999 — though his own suspension from the final, after a booking in the semi-final against Juventus in which he produced one of the great individual midfield performances, remains one of football's most poignant what-ifs. He scored 51 goals from midfield in 480 appearances — a remarkable return for a player whose primary role was defensive and creative rather than attacking.
Born in Cork, Keane came through Nottingham Forest under Brian Clough before joining United in 1993. For Ireland, his international career ended in acrimony at the 2002 World Cup — a falling-out with manager Mick McCarthy that remains one of the most written-about episodes in Irish sporting history. His quality on a football pitch, however, was never in any doubt.

Whilst we treat our tops as unisex, we don't ever want to buy a unisex sized top, the length and the fit are always wrong and never look great on the person. Also for kids we can do this top for kids as well, its just taking a long time to add every product under the kids category, but we will get this done as soon as possible. We are sustainably focused and source products that are already produced and reduce our carbon footprint by only carrying stock that will be ordered. For t-shirts all our sizes are regular fit to ensure that they fit nicely each time. However, we love the oversized look as you probably do too, so we can do our designs on high quality oversized tshirts in a variety of on trend colours.
Can I have my own name?
Absolutely, we can tailor the design to how you choose. Just get in touch and we can personalise. We are called Players Couture for a reason, clothing designed specifically for you.
Can I change the font, font size or the colour of the text?
Absolutely, we have standardised white and black as our go to options, but in theory can have any colour text you want. We can match to your team colours. We use a standard sizing for our design, but we can increase or decrease the size of text, the position. Whatever you want, you got it. This will be your new favourite top, so lets make it perfect.
