Jurgen Klopp Liverpool T-Shirt | Players Couture

Jürgen Klopp arrived at Liverpool in October 2015 and departed in May 2024, delivering in between the Champions League, the Premier League, the FA Cup, the League Cup, the UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup — the most successful nine seasons in the club’s modern history. His transformation of the club through Gegenpressing, shrewd recruitment and a relationship with the Anfield crowd that was as complete as any manager-supporter connection the club has formed produced an era supporters will recount for generations.

Klopp’s Liverpool had a narrative quality that the sport rarely produces — the Barcelona comeback, the Champions League final, the title in the Covid year. His farewell and the reception it generated reflected a manager who had delivered what supporters had been waiting for and done so in a way that made the watching genuinely joyful.
