Ryan Gravenberch Liverpool T-Shirt | Players Couture

Ryan Gravenberch joined Liverpool from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2023 and transformed from a squad player struggling for minutes in Munich into one of the most complete midfielders in the Premier League within a single season. His combination of size, technical quality and ability to carry the ball forward from deep made him a perfect fit for Arne Slot's midfield, and his performances in the 2024-25 season contributed significantly to Liverpool's title challenge.

Gravenberch's development at Liverpool has been one of the more satisfying stories of recent English football — a player who had the quality but not the environment at Bayern, and who found both at Anfield. His ability to receive under pressure, to drive forward with the ball and to make late runs into the box that opponents struggle to account for gave Liverpool a new dimension in midfield. The Netherlands international is still in his early twenties and operating at a level that suggests the best years are still ahead.
