World Champion in 2002

At the 2002 World Cup, Ronaldinho formed a magical front three with Ronaldo and Rivaldo. His audacious long-range free kick that looped over David Seaman in the quarter-final against England is still talked about today, and Brazil went on to win their fifth world title. Barcelona's Reinvention

When Ronaldinho joined Barcelona in 2003, the club was in a slump. Within two years he had transformed it. Barça won La Liga in 2005 and 2006, plus the 2006 Champions League. He was named FIFA World Player of the Year in 2004 and 2005, and won the Ballon d'Or in 2005.

His defining night came in November 2005, when he scored twice in a 3-0 win at the Santiago Bernabéu and Real Madrid's own fans stood to applaud him. It's one of the rarest tributes in football. Wear the legend with our Ronaldinho AC Milan Icon Frame Men's T-Shirt.

Milan and Beyond

Ronaldinho went on to win Serie A with AC Milan in 2011, then the Copa Libertadores with Atlético Mineiro in 2013. He also played a big part in Barcelona's future: he was the one who set up a teenage Lionel Messi's first senior goal.

Why We Still Love Him

Ronaldinho reminded everyone why they fell in love with football in the first place. His joy was infectious, and that's exactly why his name looks so good on a hoodie.
