Gerd Muller — Der Bomber der Nation — is the most prolific scorer in the history of German football and one of the most deadly finishers the game has ever produced. Short, powerfully built, and blessed with an instinct for goal that made him virtually unplayable in and around the penalty area, Muller scored 566 goals in 607 appearances for Bayern Munich between 1964 and 1979 — a return that defies the limits of what seemed statistically possible.
He won four Bundesliga titles and three consecutive European Cups with Bayern between 1974 and 1976, forming the central part of a club side that dominated European football in that era. His goalscoring ratio of almost one per game throughout a fifteen-year career at the highest level of German football was extraordinary, and his influence on the club's identity was foundational.
For Germany, Muller won 62 caps and scored 68 goals — an average of more than a goal per game that stands as the greatest international scoring ratio in the history of the German national team. He scored the winning goal in the 1974 World Cup final against the Netherlands on home soil, completing the set of honours the game had to offer. He passed away in 2021, and was mourned across the world of football as one of its true greats.

Do you do women's and kids sizes in this Gerd Muller collection?
Yes we can do this for you. We want our tops to be suitable for everyone. Whilst we treat our tops as unisex, we don't ever want to buy a unisex sized top, the length and the fit are always wrong and never look great on the person. Instead we recommend women buy the size relevant in the size guide for that cool borowed from him look. Alternatively we can source any women's size and style and custom make this for you. Also for kids we can do this top for kids as well, its just taking a long time to add every product under the kids category, but we will get this done as soon as possible. Yes, we typically offer the very popular lighter drawstring hoodie as its versatile for layering all year round. However if you want a thicker hoodie as seen in some of the model photos. Or one without pockets, or even a zip, we can look to personalise it to your request.
For t-shirts all our sizes are regular fit to ensure that they fit nicely each time. However, we love the oversized look as you probably do too, so we can do our designs on high quality oversized tshirts in a variety of on trend colours.
Can I have my own name?
Absolutely, we can tailor the design to how you choose. Just get in touch and we can personalise. We are called Players Couture for a reason, clothing designed specifically for you.
Can I change the font, font size or the colour of the text?
Absolutely, we have standardised white and black as our go to options, but in theory can have any colour text you want. We can match to your team colours. We use a standard sizing for our design, but we can increase or decrease the size of text, the position. Whatever you want, you got it. This will be your new favourite top, so lets make it perfect.
Can I become a brand ambassador?
We like your thinking! Definetly, we are always looking to work with content creators and current and ex players. We can do custom items for you and your followers.
