The red jumpsuits are back. In May 2026 Netflix confirmed that the Money Heist universe will continue, sailing a boat of masked robbers down the river in Seville to make the announcement, just days before the spin-off Berlin returned with its second season, Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine.

The Story: The Professor and His Crew
Created by Álex Pina, Money Heist follows a mysterious mastermind known as the Professor (Álvaro Morte), who recruits a crew of criminals named after cities to carry out an audacious heist in Madrid. Tokyo (Úrsula Corberó) narrates the story.
It premiered on Spain's Antena 3 in May 2017, and after Netflix picked up the global rights it became one of the platform's biggest non-English hits.
