Carmelita Jeter, explosive speed and relay history
Carmelita Jeter reached the top level of sprinting later than many rivals, then became one of the fastest women ever. Her 10.64 seconds for 100 metres in Shanghai in 2009 placed her second on the all-time list at the time, behind only Florence Griffith Joyner. Jeter won the 100 metres world title in 2011 after taking bronze at the previous two championships.
At the London 2012 Olympics she earned three medals: silver in the 100 metres, bronze in the 200 metres and gold in the 4 x 100 metres relay. Running the anchor leg, Jeter crossed the line as the United States set a world record of 40.82 seconds, breaking a mark that had stood since 1985. Her pointing celebration towards the clock captured the instant the team understood what it had achieved.
A sprinter's name for athletics fanatics
Carmelita Jeter works as a Players Couture design for track athletes and viewers who remember London 2012. It represents power, patience and a historic relay finish, giving fans a direct piece of clothing without copying Olympic symbols, USA team marks or event photography.
How to wear the Carmelita Jeter T-shirt
Wear it for an athletics meeting, winter-sport trip, Olympic watch party or relaxed weekend. The shirt gives sports fans a wearable reference to a defining performance without copying event or federation marks. White gives the print a crisp finish, Black and Navy provide easy darker options, Grey has a softer athletic character and Red adds more impact.
Fit, fabric and made-to-order production
The T-shirt is made from soft ringspun cotton with a crew neck, short sleeves and a regular men's fit. It is available in White, Black, Red, Navy and Grey in sizes S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL. Check the size guide before ordering, particularly when buying for somebody else or choosing a looser fit.
Each garment is printed to order in the United Kingdom after the customer selects the colour and size. No finished pre-printed stock is produced before an order is placed. This reduces the need to hold large quantities of finished stock and allows Players Couture to maintain specialist names alongside widely recognised favourites. Free UK delivery is included.
Wash inside out with similar colours on a cool cycle. Avoid bleach, do not iron directly over the print and air dry where practical. These steps help protect the cotton shape and printed lettering through repeat wear.
