Chambers Bay, a modern links carved from a quarry
Chambers Bay occupies a former sand and gravel site beside Puget Sound near Tacoma, Washington. Robert Trent Jones Jr designed the walking-only public course, using huge changes of level, exposed fescue and broad fairways to create a links-style test far from the traditional coasts of Britain and Ireland. It opened in 2007 and was awarded major championships almost immediately.
The 2015 US Open made Chambers Bay known worldwide. Jordan Spieth won by one stroke after Dustin Johnson three-putted the final green, completing the second leg of Spieth's remarkable major season. The event also produced argument about the fescue greens and course presentation, but the setting, railway line and scale of the land were unmistakable. Subsequent renovation returned the putting surfaces to poa annua.
A destination name for travelling golfers
CHAMBERS BAY works as a Players Couture design for golfers who played the public course, watched the 2015 finish or want to explore Pacific Northwest golf. Wear it after a round with chinos or shorts. The clean treatment references the place without copying the course logo or championship branding.
How to wear the Chambers Bay T-shirt
Wear it after a round, on a golf trip or for a relaxed weekend away from the course. The name design pairs with chinos, shorts and a lightweight overshirt and gives golfers a clean reference without copying club or resort branding. White gives the print a crisp finish, Black and Navy provide easy darker options, Grey has a softer athletic character and Red adds more impact.
Fit, fabric and made-to-order production
The T-shirt is made from soft ringspun cotton with a crew neck, short sleeves and a regular men's fit. It is available in White, Black, Red, Navy and Grey in sizes S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL. Check the size guide before ordering, particularly when buying for somebody else or choosing a looser fit.
Each garment is printed to order in the United Kingdom after the customer selects the colour and size. No finished pre-printed stock is produced before an order is placed. This reduces the need to hold large quantities of finished stock and allows Players Couture to maintain specialist names alongside widely recognised favourites. Free UK delivery is included.
Wash inside out with similar colours on a cool cycle. Avoid bleach, do not iron directly over the print and air dry where practical. These steps help protect the cotton shape and printed lettering through repeat wear.
