From the Rugby Field to the Oche
Born in Markham, Caerphilly, on 7 March 1985, Price was a rugby man first. He played under-19 international rugby union for Wales and turned out for Neath and Cross Keys, scoring a try as Cross Keys won the 2011–12 WRU Challenge Cup. He also played rugby league for South Wales Scorpions.
He only started playing darts seriously in 2012, but progress was rapid. He earned a PDC tour card at Qualifying School in 2014 and gave up rugby the same year. Bring that fire to your wardrobe with our Gerwyn Price Darts Icon Frame Men's Hoodie.

Grand Slam Breakthrough
Price's first major came at the 2018 Grand Slam of Darts, and he defended it in 2019. In 2020 he won the World Series of Darts Finals and the World Grand Prix, and teamed up with Jonny Clayton to win the World Cup of Darts for Wales.

World Champion and World No. 1
The defining moment came at the 2021 PDC World Championship, when Price beat Gary Anderson 7–3 in the final to become the first Welshman to win the PDC world title. It also took him to world No. 1, a ranking he held on three occasions between 2021 and 2022. He added a third Grand Slam later in 2021, another World Series Finals in 2022 and a second World Cup with Clayton in 2023.
He has also hit a string of televised nine-darters, including one at the 2022 World Championship. Our Gerwyn Price Men's Hoodie is perfect for the next big night at the darts.

Still Chasing Silverware in 2026
Price remains a fixture near the top of the rankings. In 2025 he won the Poland Darts Masters, the Baltic Sea Darts Open and four Players Championship events. In 2026 he beat Ross Smith 8–6 to win the European Darts Grand Prix, his tenth European Tour title, and reached the finals of the World Matchplay, World Series Finals and World Grand Prix.
