Darren Lockyer spent his entire senior club career with Brisbane Broncos and excelled in two of rugby league's most demanding positions. He first became an elite fullback, then moved to five-eighth and used his vision, support play and calm kicking game to direct matches closer to the line. Lockyer won four premierships with Brisbane, captained the club to the 2006 title and earned the Clive Churchill Medal in 2000. He also led Queensland and Australia, finishing with 59 Tests and a record number of Broncos appearances.
