Dom Young emerged as one of rugby league's most dangerous finishers after leaving Huddersfield Giants for the NRL. The tall Dewsbury-born winger developed rapidly with Newcastle Knights, combining long-stride speed with the power to finish in limited space. At the 2022 World Cup he scored nine tries for England in only five matches. Young moved to Sydney Roosters for 2024, then returned to Newcastle during 2025 and rediscovered his best scoring rhythm. In 2026 he crossed 23 times in 26 games as the Knights reached the NRL Grand Final, confirming his value on both sides of the field.
