In Pro Evolution Soccer's classic-player database, licensing restrictions gave Pep Guardiola the cult alias A.Suela. For players who spent hours editing squads or selecting the World and European Classics, that fictional name became part of the game's mythology. Behind it was Pep Guardiola: A product of La Masia, Guardiola became the deep-lying organiser of Johan Cruyff's Barcelona Dream Team, winning six league titles and the club's first European Cup. His later coaching career at Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Manchester City transformed pressing, positional play and expectations of how elite teams control matches.

Why the two names? The chest print uses A.Suela, the fictional classic-player name remembered from PES, while the footballer behind the avatar is Pep Guardiola. It is a small piece of gaming history for supporters who knew the player before every classic squad was fully licensed.
