Isak grew up in Solna, just outside Stockholm, and came through the academy at Djurgårdens IF before moving to Borussia Dortmund as a teenager. His development continued at Real Sociedad in Spain, where he spent five productive seasons and scored 60 goals. His time in the Basque region established him as one of Europe's most promising forwards. He was technical, calm under pressure and capable of creating something from nothing. When Newcastle United signed him in 2022, they were getting a fully formed striker ready to step into one of the biggest leagues in the world.

At Newcastle, Isak delivered season after season. He adapted quickly to the physicality of the Premier League without sacrificing any of the technical quality that had made his name in Spain. He finished as Newcastle's top scorer multiple times and played a central role in their return to European football. In his final campaign for the club, he scored 27 goals and became one of the standout attackers in England. That level of consistency earned him a British record transfer to Liverpool in summer 2025, where he now plays his club football.

Isak has been a regular for Sweden at international level, stepping into a national team that has produced great players across every era. He carries that tradition forward as one of the finest Swedish footballers of his generation.
