Ally McCoist Glasgow Rangers T-Shirt | Players Couture

Ally McCoist scored 355 goals for Glasgow Rangers across two spells at the club, making him the greatest goalscorer in the club's history. He won the European Golden Boot twice, in 1992 and 1993, becoming the only player to win it in consecutive seasons and the first British player ever to claim the award. At a club that was dominating Scottish football through the nine-in-a-row era, McCoist was the most reliable and prolific finisher in the country.

McCoist's connection to Rangers goes beyond goals. He was a fan's player — enthusiastic, loyal, beloved in the dressing room and on the terraces in equal measure. His relationship with the Ibrox crowd was one of those rare footballer-supporter bonds that transcends individual seasons. He stayed through good periods and difficult ones, played under multiple managers and adapted his game as he aged without ever losing his goal threat. When fans speak about Rangers' greatest ever player, Super Ally is always in the conversation.
