Andrey Arshavin is remembered as one of the most technically gifted footballers of his generation. On the international stage, Arshavin earned over 70 caps for Russia, captaining the national team and starring at Euro 2008, where Russia reached the semi-finals and he was widely regarded as one of the tournament’s standout players.
