Every young football fan should know the name Bobby Charlton. World Cup winner. European Cup winner. One of the greatest players England has ever produced. This Bobby Charlton kids hoodie from Players Couture introduces a new generation to a man who represented everything great about English football for nearly two decades. Fan clothing that comes with a story that every football fan deserves to know.

Charlton grew up in the northeast of England and joined Manchester United as a teenager. He survived the Munich Air Disaster in 1958, in which eight of his teammates lost their lives. He went on to play 758 times for United, win the European Cup in 1968 and score 249 goals for the club. For England, he was at the heart of the 1966 World Cup winning side, controlling midfield across the tournament and playing at Wembley when Bobby Moore lifted the Jules Rimet Trophy. He won the Ballon d'Or, the highest individual honour in the game, in 1966. He was knighted and spent the rest of his life as an ambassador for the sport he had given so much to.

Bobby Charlton passed away in October 2023 aged 86. He left behind a legacy that young football fans are inheriting. This hoodie carries his name as a tribute to that legacy, in the England colours he wore with such distinction, framed in the Players Couture design that makes these garments something more than standard fan merchandise.
