The Chris Waddle t-shirt from Players Couture carries the name of the most technically gifted English winger of the late 1980s across the chest in bold lettering, contrasting colour, made to order when you place yours. Chris Waddle was named French Player of the Year during his time at Marseille, reached the World Cup semi-final with England at Italia 90, and was one of the most creative and direct wide players of his generation. Chris Waddle moved from Tottenham Hotspur to Marseille in 1989 for £4.25 million and spent three seasons in France winning the French title three consecutive times, being named French Player of the Year in 1991. For England, he earned 62 caps and appeared at two World Cups. He was involved in one of the most discussed penalty misses in international football during the 1990 World Cup semi-final.
