The Coutinho hoodie from Players Couture carries the name of the most technically gifted player to play regularly for Liverpool in the Premier League era — before he left for Barcelona in January 2018 for £142 million — across the chest in bold lettering, contrasting colour, made to order when you place yours. Philippe Coutinho was the player Liverpool supporters built their best football around between 2013 and 2017. His long-range goals, his dribbling in tight spaces, his ability to play the unexpected pass at the precise moment it was needed — all of it made him the most exciting player in the stadium on most of the Saturdays he played in it.

Coutinho joined Liverpool from Inter Milan in January 2013 for £8.5 million. Over five years at Anfield he scored 54 goals and provided 45 assists in all competitions, winning the Brazilian league's best young player award and being named in multiple Premier League teams of the year. His performances in 2016-17 — the season before his departure — produced 13 Premier League goals and included strikes against Stoke City and Middlesbrough that ranked among the best hit by any player in the division that season.
