David Fifita emerged with Brisbane Broncos as a powerful edge forward capable of changing a match with one carry. His combination of footwork, acceleration and strength made him dangerous against a retreating defensive line, and he continued to produce tackle breaks and tries after moving to Gold Coast Titans. Fifita represented Queensland in State of Origin and chose to represent Tonga internationally, connecting his club career with one of rugby league's strongest emerging national sides. He joined South Sydney Rabbitohs for the 2026 season, reuniting with coach Wayne Bennett and bringing a proven attacking threat to the pack.
