Didi Hamann Hoodie — The Man Who Changed Istanbul at Half-Time

3-0 down at half-time in the Champions League final. Rafa Benítez made a change. Didi Hamann came on. Liverpool won on penalties. The tactical substitution that defined the most famous comeback in European football history — Hamann providing the defensive anchor that allowed Liverpool to control the middle of the pitch and eventually equalise. His name on this hoodie belongs to that night.

Dietmar Hamann joined Liverpool from Newcastle United in 1999 and spent eight seasons at Anfield — a defensive midfielder of composure, efficiency and tactical intelligence. His contribution to the 2001 treble and the 2005 Champions League campaign — particularly the Istanbul final — secured his place in the club's history.
