Diego Maradona Barcelona T-Shirt | Players Couture
Diego Maradona joined Barcelona from Boca Juniors in 1982 for a world record fee and spent two seasons at the Camp Nou — a period marked by illness, a hepatitis diagnosis and a playing record that never quite reached the heights the fee and the talent suggested, but which produced moments of individual quality that reminded the Spanish football world that they were watching someone completely unlike any other player in the game.
Maradona's Barcelona chapter was the difficult middle section of a career bookended by the great Boca years and the extraordinary Napoli chapter. But his Copa del Rey final goal against Athletic Bilbao in 1983 — a run that took him past multiple defenders before finishing — and his performances in individual matches gave Camp Nou supporters glimpses of the player who would go on to rewrite the history of the World Cup two years later. Barcelona got the troubled version of Maradona; Napoli got the peak.
If you're a Barcelona fan or looking for a gift for a Maradona supporter, this Players Couture design captures him in the blaugrana of the Camp Nou in the Pantone-card illustration style.
The t-shirt is made from 100% premium cotton with a regular unisex fit, available in White, Navy, Red, Black and Grey in sizes XS to 5XL. Every piece is made to order at our studio in Manchester — nothing is held in stock, so your order is produced fresh just for you.
