A T-shirt built around Eastward Ho!

Eastward Ho! is a distinctive seaside course in Chatham on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The club began in the 1920s and its course was shaped by English architect Herbert Fowler, who used rolling coastal land, wind and natural contours rather than forcing a rigid layout onto the site. The name was adopted in tribute to Westward Ho! in Devon, home of Royal North Devon, reflecting Fowler's links-golf background. Eastward Ho! hosted the Cape Cod Open in the early 1930s and has long attracted admirers for inventive approach shots, changing conditions and views across Pleasant Bay.

More than a familiar name

EASTWARD HO! is a knowledgeable golf reference, not simply a travel slogan. The punctuation and full name give players and course collectors a clean reminder of Cape Cod terrain and Fowler's strategic imagination.
