The Edgar Davids hoodie from Players Couture carries the name of the most physically intense and distinctive central midfielder in European football during the late 1990s and early 2000s across the chest in bold lettering, contrasting colour, made to order when you place yours. Edgar Davids won the European club football with Ajax in 1995, won the Serie A title three times with Juventus, was known throughout his career as The Pitbull for his relentless pressing and winning of the ball, and was recognised by his distinctive prescription goggles as much as by his footballing quality. For fans and supporters of Dutch football and for followers of the game who remember those Ajax and Juventus years, this is the fan apparel.

Edgar Davids came through Ajax’s academy and won the European club football in 1995. He moved to AC Milan then Juventus in 1997, spending five seasons at the Juventus Stadium and winning three Serie A titles. He played on loan at Barcelona in 2004 then joined Tottenham Hotspur, Lille, Ajax again and later PSV Eindhoven and others. He wore prescription protective goggles for the majority of his career due to glaucoma. For the Netherlands, he earned 74 caps and scored 6 goals, reaching the semi-finals of the World Cup in 1998.
