Born on December 20, 2001, in Montevideo, Uruguay, Facundo Pellistri has rapidly ascended the ranks of professional football. Beginning his career with Peñarol, he made 30 appearances and scored one goal, showcasing his potential early on. In October 2020, Pellistri signed with Manchester United, where he gained valuable experience and further developed his skills. During his tenure with Manchester United, he had loan spells at Deportivo Alavés and Granada CF, accumulating a total of 35 appearances in La Liga.

In August 2024, Pellistri made a significant move to Panathinaikos FC in the Greek Super League.
