His form also helped City claim the 1972 League Cup and the 1976 Football League Cup.
After his time at Manchester City, Lee went on to play for Derby County, where he added another dimension to his game under the guidance of legendary manager Brian Clough. His 110 appearances and 52 goals were pivotal in Derby's continued success during the early 1970s.
