This Iniesta and Xavi hoodie from Players Couture is for fans who watched them play and understood they were seeing something genuinely special. Andres Iniesta was born in Fuentealbilla, Spain, in 1984 and joined Barcelona's La Masia academy at 12. He spent his entire professional career at Barcelona, making his debut in 2002 and becoming one of the most celebrated players in the club's history. His technical quality was extraordinary — his ability to receive the ball under pressure, to turn in tight spaces and to find teammates with passes that seemed to come from a different dimension of the game made him one of the most difficult players to defend against in European football. He scored the winning goal in the 2010 World Cup Final against the Netherlands in extra time, the most important goal in the history of Spanish football.

Xavier Hernandez, known universally as Xavi, was born in Terrassa in 1980 and joined La Masia at the same time Iniesta arrived as a child. He became the metronome of Barcelona and Spain, controlling the tempo of every match with a passing accuracy and a football intelligence that made the teams he played for impossible to beat over the course of a game. He won eight La Liga titles and four Champions Leagues at Barcelona. He won Euro 2008, the 2010 World Cup and Euro 2012 with Spain, forming the core of the tiki-taka era with Iniesta.

Together they played with a relationship built on a lifetime of shared football philosophy, developed at La Masia and refined over fifteen years at the highest level. Spain's three consecutive major tournament victories between 2008 and 2012 are impossible to understand without understanding Xavi and Iniesta.
