Javier Zanetti made 858 appearances for Inter Milan across nineteen seasons — a loyalty record that reflects a player who was as important to the institution as to any individual team. His five Serie A titles and the 2010 Champions League under José Mourinho represent the most decorated career in Inter’s modern history, and his captaincy through all of it gave the club a leader whose standards never wavered across two decades.
