This Cruyff Netherlands t-shirt from Players Couture is for fans who know that football as we see it in the modern era was shaped by a player from Amsterdam who understood the game in a way nobody before him had. Cruyff won the European Cup three times with Ajax and the La Liga once with Barcelona. He returned to Barcelona as a manager and won four consecutive league titles and the Champions League in 1992. Pep Guardiola was his player at Barcelona and Guardiola's entire coaching philosophy is built on what Cruyff showed him. Jurgen Klopp, Mauricio Pochettino, Louis van Gaal — the coaching tree that traces back to Cruyff's ideas is the most extensive in the history of the sport. He passed away in March 2016 aged 68, leaving behind a legacy that is visible in every modern football match played at the highest level.
