The Johan Neeskens hoodie from Players Couture carries the name of the most technically complete central midfielder in the history of Dutch football and one of the finest in the history of the game across the chest in bold lettering, contrasting colour, made to order when you place yours. Johan Neeskens won three consecutive European Cups with Ajax alongside Johan Cruyff, reached the 1974 and 1978 World Cup finals with the Netherlands, won La Liga with Barcelona and was the engine of Total Football — the midfield presence that made Cruyff’s vision possible. For fans and supporters of Dutch football and for followers of the game who study the history of the greatest teams, this is the fan apparel.

Johan Neeskens joined Ajax from Haarlem in 1970 and won three consecutive European Cups in 1971, 1972 and 1973 alongside Cruyff. He scored the opening goal of the 1974 World Cup final against West Germany from the penalty spot in the second minute — before a German player had touched the ball. He joined Barcelona with Cruyff in 1974 and won La Liga in 1974 and 1985. For the Netherlands, he earned 49 caps and scored 17 international goals. He later played for New York Cosmos alongside Cruyff and Pelé.
