Jorge Campos designed his own kits in neon fluorescent colours and patterns that made him look unlike any other goalkeeper who has ever played professional football. He was also one of the best goalkeepers of his era, capable of making extraordinary saves despite being considerably shorter than most of the strikers he faced. This Campos Mexico t-shirt from Players Couture is for fans who remember the fluorescent kits, the saves and the sheer personality of a goalkeeper who made watching Mexican football in the 1990s an experience unlike anything else. Fan apparel celebrating a true original.

Campos was born in Acapulco in 1966 and became the most celebrated goalkeeper in Mexican football history. His athleticism, his reflexes and his willingness to play almost as a sweeper-keeper decades before the position existed in European football made him a genuinely innovative presence in the game. He played at the 1994 and 1998 World Cups and delivered performances that kept Mexico competitive at both tournaments. And through all of it, the fluorescent kits remained.
