Lilian Thuram earned 142 caps for France, won the World Cup in 1998 and the European Championship in 2000, and spent his club career at Monaco, Parma, Juventus and Barcelona. Lilian Thuram began his career at Monaco before joining Parma in 1996, where he won the UEFA Cup, the Copa Italia and the UEFA Super Cup. He joined Juventus in 2001 and won two Serie A titles before the Calciopoli scandal relegated the club to Serie B — like Del Piero, he stayed. He joined Barcelona in 2006. For France, he earned 142 caps across fifteen seasons, winning the World Cup in 1998 and Euro 2000. At the 1998 World Cup semi-final against Croatia, he came from 1-0 down to score twice in the second half — the only international goals of his career — to send France to the final.
