About Loum Tchaouna — Rising Star You Can Back

Loum Tchaouna is one of football’s most exciting young talents. Born in N’Djamena, Chad on 8 September 2003, he moved to France as a child and climbed through the youth ranks in clubs like FC Kronenbourg, Schiltigheim, Strasbourg, before making his mark at Rennes.

He made his senior debut with Rennes, then moved on loan to Dijon, before transferring to Italy’s Salernitana. His performances earned him a move to Lazio, where he featured in domestic and European competitions. In July 2025, he sealed a high-profile move to Burnley in the Premier League, putting him centre stage in English football.

On the international front, Tchaouna has represented France at youth levels from U16 upwards. He shone at the UEFA European U-19 Championship, finishing as top scorer and earning a place in the Team of the Tournament. More recently, he’s broken into France’s U21 setup, making appearances in major youth tournaments.
