Ousmane Dembélé joined PSG from Barcelona in 2023 and finally delivered the consistency that his extraordinary physical and technical attributes had always promised — his pace from the right, his crossing and his ability to beat full-backs making him one of the most dangerous wide forwards in Ligue 1. The injuries that had defined his Barcelona years were behind him, and a sustained run of form gave the Parc des Princes what the Camp Nou had been waiting years to see.

Dembélé’s combination of pace and technical quality from the right gave PSG a direct option that complemented the more intricate players around him.
