Raul Jimenez Wolves T-Shirt | Players Couture

Raúl Jiménez established himself as one of the most effective centre-forwards in the Premier League during his first three full seasons at Wolverhampton Wanderers, scoring goals that carried the club into Europe and gave their supporters a striker capable of competing with the best defenders in the country. His pace, his aerial ability and his composure in one-on-one situations made him a consistent threat, and his performances — combined with his international record with Mexico — attracted attention from clubs at the very top of the Premier League.

In November 2020, Jiménez suffered a fractured skull in a collision with Arsenal's David Luiz at the Emirates. The injury ended his season, raised serious questions about his ability to return to professional football at all, and put the goals in their proper perspective. His return to the Molineux pitch in September 2021, and his subsequent seasons playing at the top level, was a story of physical courage and mental resilience that his earlier goalscoring career had not been required to produce. Wolves supporters, and most of the football world, welcomed him back.
