Roberto Carlos Inter Milan Hoodie | Players Couture

Roberto Carlos spent two seasons at Inter Milan between 1995 and 1996 before his move to Real Madrid — a formative chapter in the career of the player who would become the definitive attacking left-back of his generation. The Brazilian's physical attributes were already extraordinary: pace, power and a left foot capable of producing free-kicks at speeds and with movements that physics students would later model as case studies. At Inter, he demonstrated enough of those qualities to attract the attention that brought him to Madrid.

Carlos's brief Inter chapter was followed by a decade at Real Madrid that confirmed him as one of the greatest full-backs ever to play the game. But his time in Milan gave him the European experience that shaped his approach to the highest levels of club football, and the connection between those early seasons in Italy and the player he became at the Bernabéu is direct. Inter supporters who saw him play before Madrid came calling saw the beginning of something exceptional.
