The story behind the name

An original member of the Bones Brigade, Caballero helped define 1980s skateboarding across vert, street and landmark films such as The Search for Animal Chin. He invented the Caballerial and the frontside boardslide, while his signature Vans shoe evolved into the Half Cab—one of the most enduring skate shoes ever made. Music, art and motocross sit alongside a skating career whose influence has crossed generations.
