The Clock End Arsenal Hoodie | Players Couture Icon Frame Collection

The Clock End. The South End of Highbury that housed Arsenal's most passionate support for ninety-three years. The terrace that stood behind the goal and gave the ground its atmosphere, its noise and its character. This Clock End hoodie from Players Couture is for Arsenal fans who carry Highbury with them as part of their history with the club. Fan apparel celebrating the ground, the terrace and the spirit of Arsenal football.

Highbury opened in 1913 and the Clock End was the South Stand terrace that became the spiritual home of Arsenal's most devoted supporters. It took its name from the famous clock that sat at the top of the terrace — a clock that told the time during every Arsenal match played at the ground and became one of Highbury's defining features. The terrace was converted to seating in 1993 to comply with the Taylor Report recommendations that followed the Hillsborough disaster, but the name and the memory of what it was endure for everyone who stood there.

Arsenal left Highbury in 2006 and moved to the Emirates Stadium, which now holds more than twice as many supporters. The old ground was converted to luxury flats, but the marble halls, the art deco facade and the name of the Clock End are preserved in the memories of every Arsenal fan who experienced the old ground.
