Patrick Vieira was a leader who made Arsenal invincible — a combative, technically superb central midfielder who dominated English football for nearly a decade and did it with a authority that bordered on intimidation. Patrick Vieira joined Arsenal from AC Milan in 1996 under Arsène Wenger and spent nine seasons as the engine of a team that became the most dominant in English football.
