Created in a cool cartoon style, the badge-style artwork is an artistic interpretation of a vintage football sticker, designed for fans who love football nostalgia, Panini sticker culture, trading cards, retro World Cup memories and standout fanwear.

Fabien Barthez remains a true hero of French football. Known for his fearless goalkeeping, shaved head, sharp reflexes and huge personality, Barthez played for Toulouse, Marseille, Monaco, Manchester United, Marseille again and Nantes. His career included major club success, most famously winning the European club football with Marseille in 1993, as well as league titles in France and England.

For France, Barthez became a legend. He was France’s number one goalkeeper during their 1998 World Cup win on home soil, keeping clean sheets and playing a key role in one of the greatest moments in French football history. He was also part of the team that won Euro 2000, helping create one of the strongest international sides of the era. Barthez later appeared at the 2002 and 2006 World Cups, reaching the 2006 final with France and ending his international career as one of the country’s most respected keepers.
