The artwork is a cool cartoon-style artistic interpretation of Gordon McQueen, created in the spirit of classic football sticker collecting. It has that nostalgic Panini-style feel loved by football fanatics, sticker collectors, Topps trading card fans, retro shirt lovers, Twitch football gamers and anyone who appreciates vintage football culture.

Gordon McQueen was one of Scotland’s most memorable centre-backs, known for his towering presence, aerial power and fearless defending. He began his senior career with St Mirren before making his name at Leeds United, where he became part of the great 1970s side and helped win the First Division title in 1973–74. He later joined Manchester United, winning the FA Cup in 1983 and becoming a favourite with fans at Old Trafford.

For Scotland, McQueen earned 30 caps and scored 5 goals. He was part of Scotland’s World Cup squads in 1974 and 1978, although injury sadly prevented him from playing at the 1978 tournament. One of his most famous international moments came in 1977, when he scored against England at Wembley as Scotland claimed a famous victory. For many fans, McQueen remains a cult football hero: bold, brave, stylish and impossible to ignore.
