Geoff Thomas became the driving midfield captain of the Crystal Palace side that reached the 1990 FA Cup final and finished third in the top flight the following season. His running power and leadership earned nine England caps and later took him to Wolverhampton Wanderers, Nottingham Forest and other clubs after a long Palace career. Football, however, is only part of why the name matters. Diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukaemia in 2003, Thomas recovered following treatment and a stem-cell transplant, then used demanding cycling challenges to raise millions of pounds for blood cancer research. Relaxed or oversized look: go one size up.
Women: our tops are unisex in style, and many women choose their usual size for a relaxed, borrowed-from-him fit. We can also make women's cuts on request.
Compare with your own hoodie: lay a hoodie you love flat and measure from armpit to armpit. Our Large hoodie measures about 23.5 inches pit to pit.
