Jerzy Dudek Hoodie — The Goalkeeper Who Saved Liverpool in Istanbul

Two saves in extra time. The Shevchenko stop on the line with his whole body. The jelly-legs routine in the penalty shootout — borrowed from Grobbelaar, improved upon by Dudek. Jerzy Dudek won the 2005 Champions League final with his own hands, and in doing so earned his name a permanent place in Liverpool's pantheon. His name on this hoodie is for every fan who watched that night.

Jerzy Dudek joined Liverpool from Feyenoord in 2001 and spent six seasons at Anfield — his peak coming in that extraordinary night in Istanbul in 2005. His double save from Andriy Shevchenko in extra time — the first with his hand, the follow-up with his whole body on the line — remains one of the most dramatic moments in the competition's history. His penalty shootout performance, complete with the dancing routine that put off Shevchenko for the decisive kick, was pure theatre. For Poland he earned 60 caps and was a reliable international presence across a decade.
